10 v 5 Press for your lives

Equipment: Flat markers, balls and bibs

Set up a box, and split your group in to three teams (this example is 3 teams of five). Make the box size to suit your group size/ability.

One team are nominated to defend/ball win. The other two teams set up with 2 players on the edge of the box and the rest of their team inside the box.

The two possession teams pass the ball around, trying to keep possession for as long as possible. When the ball winning team win the ball, they should swap with the team they won the ball from.

Depending on what you want to work on there are lots of scoring options, eg the number of times that a team defends in a specifc time period , or the least number of passes before the ball is won, etc.
