German 1v1’s

Equipment: Balls and Cones

Set up as shown (vary size of box to suit your players/aim).

The ball is fed to the attacker and they play a 1v1 against the defender. You can work on various aims in this drill. In this scenario the defender is aiming to protect the inside channel and win the ball and drive through either blue gate, or at worst force the ball carrier through the yellow gate. The ball carrier is trying to attack and drive through the red gate.

Points in this scenario:

Yellow Gate - 1 Point

Blue Gate - 2 points

Red Gate - 3 Points.
